FAQ

What does totio do for Sydney businesses?

totio is a Sydney-developed website localization SaaS product. It turns an existing website into reviewable, language-specific pages for Australian English, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese customers, then prepares the publishing and technical search settings for each page.

01

Can totio use my existing website?

Yes. totio works from your public website and generally keeps the current site and CMS in place. The publishing method may require domain, DNS or repository access.

02

What does a localized page include?

The agreed output can include translated HTML, a language-specific URL, localized title and description, hreflang, canonical tags, structured data, sitemap entries and a reviewed enquiry path.

03

Will SEO or AI search visibility be guaranteed?

No. totio makes pages crawlable and easier for search and answer systems to interpret, but rankings, citations, traffic, enquiries and sales depend on external systems and market response.

02

03

Korean-speaking customers

Publish Korean service and FAQ content at its own URL, using reviewed local terminology and a clear next step for Sydney customers.

04

Simplified Chinese-speaking customers

Publish Simplified Chinese service, practical details and trust content at a dedicated URL with a matching Chinese enquiry path.

FAQ

Questions Sydney businesses ask

Clear answers before you commit to a multilingual website or paid campaign.

How is this different from browser translation features?

Browser translation changes text only on an individual visitor's screen. totio publishes an operator-reviewable translation at a language-specific URL or custom domain and can handle search settings such as hreflang, canonical tags, and localized metadata.

Can I go multilingual without modifying my existing site?

A CMS migration or complete rebuild is generally unnecessary. totio uses the existing site as the source, creates a translated version, and serves hosted projects at language-specific URLs or custom domains. Domain or DNS configuration may be required for publishing.

What is an LC (Localization Credit)?

LC is totio's usage unit. For standard website translation, translating one segment into one language uses 1 LC. LC is also used for translation generation, hosted-site updates, SEO-ready checks, QA, and PDF or image processing.

What can I do on the Free plan?

The A$0 Free plan includes a one-time 100 LC allowance, one project, and a basic SEO audit. It does not include public hosting, so it is best suited to assessing scope and required LC.

Will my rankings improve in SEO or AI search?

totio can prepare language-specific URLs, hreflang, canonical tags, localized metadata, sitemaps, and structured data so search engines and AI answer systems can understand the pages. Rankings, citations, traffic, enquiries, and sales are not guaranteed.
